my APPROACH

With a background in graphic design, marketing, and a Master’s in Instructional Design & Technology, I bring a blend of creativity and strategy to learning design. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on designing learning that improves performance and supports business goals, not just delivering content.

I design with a “begin with the end in mind” philosophy grounded in models like ADDIE and Action Mapping. I also take a holistic approach using the 6Ds of Breakthrough Learning, which helps ensure alignment with business outcomes, extend learning beyond the classroom, and drive real transfer and behavior change. The 6Ds sharpen why a solution exists, define success, design for application and support, and measure effectiveness, principles I actively weave into my process.

To bring solutions to life, I’m proficient in storyboarding and content-development tools, using Mural for early analysis and mapping, Adobe Suite to support strong visual design, and platforms like Storyline 360, Rise, and Vyond to build engaging, interactive learning. For communication and workflow, I’ve used Asana, Trello, and other project management tools to stay aligned with cross-functional teams.

What motivates me most is partnering with stakeholders to clarify the real performance gaps and translate them into learning experiences that shift behavior and support organizational priorities. Seeing those changes take hold—on the job, not just in the classroom—is the most meaningful part of what I do.

My portfolio reflects a unique journey: from building health and wellness learning experiences during my time as a business owner, to more recent work designing leadership, technical, and performance-based programs.
